Steve Thompson is an independent singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist currently based in western Pennsylvania. His live band features Stephen Peck (ex-ZAO) on drums, Dave Trinh (ex-States of Melba) on saxophone, and Tony Regola on bass. With his third full release, Thompson not only showcases a revamped full band sound, but solidifies his status as a musician who is constantly growing and evolving. With a hefty collection of demo recordings he'd been sitting on for over two years and a slew of musical cohorts, Thompson began recording his third effort at the tail end of summer 2009. Some songs such as Fear of Flying and Realization tackle familiar themes of isolation and uncertainty. However, other cuts such as Traveling West Blues and the title track make it apparent that Thompson has created a full blown narrative this time around.
